Partnered with David Penner Architect, the 1970’s era home was transformed from brown to light light gray and expanded using cantilevered additions added to the front kitchen (right) and side ensuite (left). The interior was completely transformed.
The fireplace surround is limestone and drywall, creating a clean detail allowing the ceiling and views to be the prominent features of the space.
Maxalto furniture graces the bright entry foyer.
Simplicity at its finest with clean lines and minimal finishes with glass wall panels and a floating limestone slab
The elegant living room is dominated by the vaulted wood ceiling and stunning river/forest view. The furniture is B&B Italia.
A large window cantilevered addition added to the kitchen as well as the floating cabinets give the feeling of being in the forest at the front of the home and allow natural light to flood the space.
Glass walls replace a solid wall between the kitchen and the rear music room to allow for views from the kitchen to the front and rear forest.
The Master Bedroom feels like a tree house.
Clean, architectural millwork provides storage in the dining room.
A small cantilevered addition was added to the ensuite to give private views from the bathtub to the river/forest.
Simple finishes include limestone, back painted glass and white lacquer.
