The existing flat ceiling was partially removed and raised adding plenty of height and natural light to the space.
We added a new walk in-closet behind the elegant floating bed alcove.
Frosted glass walls were installed around the end of the ensuite shower allowing the exchange of natural light between the rooms as well as an unexpected design feature.
Ensuite - Cararra Marble Slabs were installed on the floors and walls of the room, however the jaw-dropping feature is the custom amethyst vanity counter.
Custom cabinet highlight the family room space with backlit walnut shelves, marble wall panels and a custom entertainment wall.
The space was sensitively re-imagined using walnut cabinets as a nod to the original cabinets but the addition of a large lacquered blue island brings that brings drama to the room.
The lacquered blue island adds drama and an unexpected sense of fun to the space.
Small penny-round mosaic backsplash tiles add a perfect texture to the classic walnut cabinets and white quartz countertops.
Do not be afraid to add an unexpected display shelf to soften the cabinet design.
The flat ceiling was confining and the room was fairly dark.
Conventional closets were replaced with an open walk-in-closet.
The room was dark and very dated.
