The main floor tenants of the Everitt Design building decided to move on, so the opportunity to renovate and refresh presented itself. The new tenants, a boutique hair salon, had the vision of creating a rustic chic space which would be inviting but also sophisticated. Rob was the design consultant and designed the space, opening it up for better flow and made sure the proper finishes and fixtures were selected. As renovations began, dust managed to find its way up to the third floor and cover every surface. Naturally, this forced us to go out for lunch to escape the noise and dust every so often. It was interesting to periodically poke our heads in to see construction progress and I am sure the guys from Renovations Plus and the other trades got tired of us. However, they remained cheerful and helpful throughout the entire project. After a frantic night of final finishing touches, Michael Kara Hair Studio opened on May 3, 2016 and it looks fabulous.
